About me

My name is Allison Cassidy. I am 53 years old and live in Queensland Australia. I became a Registered Nurse in 1996, graduating from Pinderfield’s Hospital School of Nursing in Yorkshire England. For those of us privileged enough to go through a hospital based system, I can deffinately say I learned many lessons in life as well as nursing over the 3 years it took to become a member of one of the most trusted professions in the world.

I moved to Australia in 2000, in search of new adventures. If Im honest, I didnt expect to stay in healthcare for more than 5 years, and here I am 30 years later reflecting on my journey.

I’ve chased my career across Australia and through the high’s and low’s have become a passionate advocate for the empowerment , growth and accountability of leaders.

I want to share some things I have learnt about myself, how I survived and how I made the decision to leave.
